We are the sole company in China with rock-breaking tool research and development capabilities. We have the domestic first-class development team and test capabilities. Kingdream technology center is a national level rock breaking technology research center which is a national level laboratory.

Wherein the anti-whirling diamond bit research won the third prize of scientific and technological progress award of Petroleum Corporation;
The tricone bit hydraulic system research won the third prize of scientific and technological progress award of Sinopec;
The National 863 key project - CIMS project, won the title of national model enterprise of CIMS projects and second prize of 2001 scientific and technological progress award of Sinopec;
The Sinopec ministerial “8th Five Year” project “Research on new high-speed cone bit – research on high speed floating bearing system”, and research on the slim hole mono-cone bit series both won the third prize of scientific and technological progress award of Sinopec.
Patent applications
The company has a total of 61 valid patents at home and abroad, including: 5 invention patents; 54 utility model patents; 2 design patents; 5 foreign patents in the United States, Iran and other foreign countries, 5 pending patents, including 8 invention patents, and 2 utility model patents.
In recent years, the company has stepped up research efforts in the field of engineering drilling tools, especially in the field of the shield and TBM cutters, having achieved a number of patented technologies.

Research cooperation
The company has cooperated with 25 scientific research institutions such as Beijing Petroleum Institute, Shanghai Jiaotong University, Tsinghua University, Beijing University of Technology, Xi'an Jiaotong University, Huazhong University of Science, Jianghan Petroleum Institute (Yangtze University) and Chinese Academy of Sciences Institute of Metal Research, Wuhan Institute of Material Protection and so on; 120 R & D projects were signed.
The Company established "KINGDREAM -University of Petroleum Drilling Tool Institute", "KINGDREAM- Southwest Petroleum Technology Institute Research Institute" jointly with Beijing University of Petroleum and Southwest Petroleum Institute, having achieved gratifying results in basic research, product development, new material research and other fields.

a) We have the most advanced 600KN bit test bench, which can perform comprehensive performance testing for tools and the evaluation of single-item performance.
b) We have the world most advanced bearing testing machine, capable of conducting comprehensive evaluation on the carrying capacity of tool bearings, and detecting and controlling load, rotating speed, bearing temperature, bearing torque and other parameters.
c) We have the world most advanced sealing testing machine, capable of conducting comprehensive evaluation on bearing seal, and detecting and controlling load, rotating speed, bearing temperature, bearing torque and other parameters.
d) We have the world most advanced universal MTS testing machine for testing material tensile, compressive strength, shear strength, fatigue, bending strength and other mechanical properties.
e) We have advanced composite rock breaking tester for researching the rock breaking mechanism of tools.
f) We have the world most advanced scanning electron microscopy and energy dispersive spectroscopy.
g) We have a high-precision coordinate measuring instrument for detecting the processing quality of workpieces and the dimensions of complex three-dimensional solid models.
h) We have a bottom hole pattern detector for detecting the volume size and shape of the breaking pit at the bottom of the well formed by the cone bits of different teeth distribution structures and making evaluations on the breaking efficiency according to the volume size and the shape of the breaking pit.

k) We have the world most advanced finite element analysis software (ABAQUS analysis software). Engineering and technical personnel use the software for scientific analysis of product reliability, and carry out structure optimization based on the analysis.
l) We have the world most advanced CFD fluid analysis software (FLUENT analysis software). Engineering and technical personnel use this software for analysis on flow fields of cone bits, diamond bits and engineering bits, based on which they can optimize hydraulic structures and airways.
